The Rituals
Melukat — The Purification Ritual
Warm priming · Assisted stretch · Balinese massage
A full reset for overstimulated bodies. Steam draws out the heat and noise of the day, warm water softens what the week made tight, gentle stretching opens the body, and sixty minutes of Balinese massage brings everything to stillness. You arrive scattered. You leave whole.
Pemulihan — The Recovery Ritual
Warm priming · Assisted stretch · Deep tissue massage
For bodies that have been working, surfing, lifting, hiking, or sitting too long. Thirty minutes of deep warmth, our heated soak and steam, loosens muscle that has locked itself shut. Stretching restores range. Seventy-five minutes of deep tissue releases what the body refuses to let go on its own.
The Touch
Pijat Bali — Balinese Massage
For unwinding, not fixing. Long flowing strokes with gentle acupressure following the body's energy lines — a tradition passed through Balinese healing families for centuries. Best when you want to feel cared for, not worked on.
Pijat Dalam — Deep Tissue
For knots, chronic tension, and the kind of tightness that surface pressure can't reach. Slow, deliberate work into deeper muscle layers. Precise, not gentle. For athletes, desk workers, and anyone who carries stress physically.
Punggung — Back, Neck & Shoulders
For the person who knows exactly where it hurts. Focused work on the upper body — no preamble, no full-body warmup. Direct attention where most people carry their day.
Pijak — Reflexology
For grounding. Pressure-point therapy on the feet, built on the principle that the whole body maps to the sole. Quietly powerful — guests who come once for curiosity tend to come back for the calm.
The Skin
Lulur — The Royal Scrub
For dull, sun-worn skin that needs complete renewal. A traditional Javanese court ritual — exfoliation, polish, and a cooling wrap — using a recipe passed down through generations. Impossibly soft skin. Scented for hours.
Boreh — The Warming Mask
For sore, fatigued bodies and rough, tired skin. A thick warming paste of ginger, galangal, and clove applied to the body — drawing deep heat to ease muscle stiffness while the spice granules gently exfoliate the skin's surface. Softens, warms, and restores. Balinese village medicine, used by rice farmers for generations.
Embun — Facial
For congested, dehydrated, or sun-stressed skin. A botanical facial built from local ingredients — chosen for brightening, tone, hydration, and calm. Skin that the tropics wore down, quietly restored.
The Recovery
Toya Anget — The Warm Waters
Warm muscle takes touch better than cold. A self-guided heated bathing circuit, our warm soaking pool, steam room, and rain showers, that loosens the body and quiets the mind before a single hand reaches you. Thirty minutes in and your massage goes deeper, your shoulders drop sooner, your skin opens to the oils. No therapist, no schedule, no rush. Best taken before any treatment, and worth it on its own.
